Gestern war vielleicht mein anstrengendster Tag bei Eddie Bauer. Er begann wie ein normaler Tag. Ich hatte die Bildproduktion fertig gemacht, so ich begann mit einer neuen Aufgabe. Jetzt muss ich die Bilder auf der Eddie Bauer Website stellen. Diese Aufgabe ist toll, weil ich meine schwere Arbeit sofort sehe. Ich muss die Bilder auswählen und ich kann eigentlich die Website Bilder entwerfen. Für Mittagessen gingen wir zum Supermarkt, um Essen zu kaufen. Ich kaufte Hähnchen und Nudeln, weil es mein Lieblingsessen in Deutschland zu kochen ist. Leider machte der nächste Teil gestern einen schrecklichen Tag. Ich ging in die Küche zu kochen und ich drehte mich den Herd auf. Ich benutzte Öl für das Hähnchen und ich legte den Deckel auf dem Topf. Es deckte das Öl, so dass es heiß wurde. Aber ich vergaß den Deckel auf dem Topf zu lang und es wurde zu heiß. Als ich den Deckel aufhob und das Hähnchen hineinsteckte, füllte Rauch die Küche. Ich bemerkte nicht so viel Rauch und ich kochte weiter. Aber der Feueralarm ertönte und ich wusste das noch nicht. Endlich kam Rudi in der Küche herein und er erzählte, dass die Feuerwehr kommen muss und ich muss draußen gehen. Als ich draußen allein lief, sah ich jede Person im Büro. Sie mussten alle auf die Feuerwehr warten. Fünfzig Menschen. Fünfzig. Sie starrten mich an und sie lachten. Das war wahrscheinlich der peinlichste Moment meines Lebens. Ich konnte nicht glauben, dass ich so dumm sein konnte. Ich fühlte heiß während des ganzen Tages. Meine Mitarbeiter waren allerdings alle nett. Sie sagten, dass ich eine Legende sein werde, weil das das erste Mal dem Feueralarm geklungen hatte. So, so peinlich.
Yesterday was perhaps my most stressful day at Eddie Bauer. It began as a normal day. I had finished the picture productions so I began with a new task. Now I have to put the pictures on the Eddie Bauer website. This task is great because I see my hard work immediately. I have to choose the pictures and I can basically design the website photos. For lunch we went to the supermarket to buy food. I bought chicken and noodles, my favorite food to cook in Germany. Unfortunately the next part made yesterday a TERRIBLE day. I went in the kitchen to cook and I turned on the stove. I used oil for the chicken and put a lid on the pot. It covered the oil so that it would become hot. But I forgot to take the top off the pot and it became too hot. When I picked up the top and put the chicken in the pot, smoke filled the kitchen. I didn´t notice it too much and I continued to cook. But the fire alarm sounded and I still didn´t realize it. Finally Rudi came in the kitchen and he explained that the fire department has to come and that I have to go outside. When I walked outside alone, I saw every single person in the office. They all had to wait for the fire department. Fifty people. Fifty. Sie stared at me and laughed. It was probably the most embarrassing moment of my life. I couldn´t believe I could be so dumb. I felt hot during the entire day. My coworkers were nice however. They said that I will be a legend because that was the first time the fire alarm has ever sounded. So, so embarrassing.
